ENTRY STRATEGY Field 1
How Did Jesus and His Disciples Reach the Lost?
House of Peace Search - Jesus sends out his disciples in twos to look for houses of peace. This is an explicit strategy Jesus has his disciples follow. Still highly effective today! Learn how you can follow this strategy in your neighborhood (and beyond)!
Relational Network - Jesus' ministry often spread through existing relational networks. Andrew tells Peter about Jesus, who later brings Jesus to his mother-in-law's house. Cornelius invites his relatives and close friends to hear the gospel. Learn how to reach your own relational network!
Other Strategies (links to be added later)
As You Go - Jesus would often minister to people as he was going on his way somewhere. There will often be opportunities to share the good news that we don't plan for, but just happen as we align ourselves with the Holy Spirit and as we go about life. Pray and ask God to help you be his laborer and for boldness.
Benevolent Attractional - Jesus would often draw large crowds, such as the feeding of the 5,000. He would then teach them the Word of God. Today, events can be used to bring people in and then proclaim the gospel to them.
Synagogue - Jesus and Paul very often went to synagogues to proclaim the Word of God and point people to Jesus. Today there are opportunities to breath new life into churches by providing evangelism & discipleship training.
